Hi there!

A very big welcome and thank you for visiting my store.

I am Monique Jones, mum, wife, daughter, sister and creator of Twig & Feather.

When I left my marketing career in Sydney and moved back home to Cobargo NSW in 2014 in order to get well again after years of on-and-off illness, I found the timing was right to finally open my dream store.

I not only found healing by living the beautiful country life, with the support of my parents, and by opening my dream store in 2015, I also found the love of my life! We now have a beautiful daughter who is my heart and soul.

Following my heart and being true to myself has brought me healing, happiness and beauty in my life.

There have been challenges along the way, as there always are, but hope, hard work and believing in what I do has always seen me through.

Inspiration

As long as I can remember I always loved being creative. I even had a small market stand selling handmade fabric covered photo albums at the Tilba markets when I was about 14 years old.

Years later my sister gave me a candle making course for a birthday, and I loved it! I love how a scent can take you back to a moment in time or it can evoke a feeling of relaxation and calm, or it can lift your spirits – it’s something I wanted to share with others.

During my travels through England, Germany and Australia I picked up little ideas that started to take hold and slowly the concept of Twig & Feather was born.

Beauty

Surrounding yourself with beauty can make a house feel like a home. Adding your own personal touch makes it yours. It’s your comfort, it’s a reflection of your personality and it is unique to you.

Twig & Feather is all about encouraging you to design, imagine and create the comforts of your home, your nest. A home and living store that will inspire your senses, and spark your imagination.

The Store

Stepping through the door of Twig & Feather, your senses are instantly tantalised by the beautiful fragrances wafting through the store, the ambient tunes playing in the background and the distinctive collection of homewares and gifts that I have carefully curated and styled to trigger your creativity and help you explore your own creative flair.
